I bought these for my 90 year old father and they are really nice and warm and stay on his feet good, and he can walk around in them better and doesn't slip, like he does just wearing socks or socks with rubber on the bottom of them. These have brushed leather soles and are well made. I wish I had bought more at the sale price!

My Mother-in-law was complaining that she couldn't find her favorite type of slipper, "Mudlucks". She had called several catalog places and no one had ever heard of them. When I saw these I purchased them and sent them to her. She was delighted. They were perfect.

I've had 2 pair of these Acorn socks...in 20 years! Got the first pair from my daughter (wife) her first Christmas. Today (Christmas 2008) I got my 3rd pair. They keep improving them with each successive generation. Since winter lasts 6 months here, I wear these every evening and weekend for 6 mos. My wife has repaired the toe on the first 2 pair...at about the 6 year mark. Remarkable...You will like these if you want to keep your feet warm, but run out to the mailbox or into the garage sometimes with them on. Great product.

My husband wears a 15 - 16 size shoe and we cannot find slippers in those sizes. He had a pair of Acorns in his younger years and remembered liking them. We were amazed to find them in the larger sizes on Amazon.com. They even had a size larger than the one we bought. He is very pleased.
