Good but not Great, I recieved these steps in short order and like others the Bolt on parts were maybe not the greatest idea but so far they seem to work, however why there wasn’t any kind of tape or something to put on the steps to prevent your muddy boots from slipping off I do not understand, maybe it was just my set.If not this should be changed.

I tried it out. I put it together but the directions did not match exactly what I got. Apparently, the design had changed since the directions were made and the new design no longer locks the four main pieces together with pins. Now, they are just placed inside one another and thats it. I trust that is good enough. The second thing is probably common throughout all sticks and that is the fact that you have to climb up the thing and strap it to the tree. This is not too bad, just be careful. The straps gave me a little trouble, but it finally came together. The braces are a little small. I would be a little more trusting of the thing if they were longer and hugged more of the tree. Overall though, I think it is good for the price. I’m just using it to trim branches on trees and it feels safer than a ladder. Don’t forget to wear a harness. Have a good one and take care!
